Kathleen Monaghan

Settlement Specialist

Ms. Monaghan’s interest in the legal field began in 1994 when she began working at the law firm of Shugarman & Mehring. She began her career as a receptionist and worked her way up to handling workers’ compensation claims. She then worked as a pre-litigation case manager. In 1998, she went to work at the firm of Cohen & Dwin, where she began handling a larger case load of mostly workers’ compensation cases. In 2000, she joined the firm of Saiontz & Kirk, where she worked for the next 21 years. During that time, she worked as an automobile accident case manager assistant, workers’ compensation case manager, paralegal assistant, and assistant to the managing partners. Ffinally, she ended her time at the firm as a referral coordinator.

Whitlock Law got to know and work with Ms. Monaghan through her position at Saiontz & Kirk as the Referral Coordinator from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, Whitlock Law hired Ms. Monaghan as the firm’s Settlement Specialist. Ms. Monaghan works on completing the accident claims process as smoothly and quickly as possible.

Ms. Monaghan resides in Pasadena, Maryland with her lovable German shepherd/lab mix, Betty, who also enjoys coming to work and hanging out with Jagger and Lincoln.
